After a musical readingof Monique Wittig’s The Constant Journey the DameChevaliers collective— composed notably of drummer and musician Caro Geryl and actress Adèle Haenel—will take on the cult collection La pensée straight by the author a major figure in the Women’s Liberation Movement(MLF) and radical lesbianism and a pioneer in gender studies. In dialogue with Monique Wittig DameChevaliers sets the center stage ablaze a fire around which we gather to discuss reflect and invent a different world. Artists and audience membersgather at nightfall for a performanceto reflect together. In the palpable relief of a space-time on the margins of the world a way of thinking unfolds that restores and multiplies the power of each and every one of us. In the talking circle, emotions intertwine within us to help us see clearly.
